I imagine God holding us much like I see my own father holding my nephews. I came across a picture of my dad where he held on to my nephew with such strong, yet the most gentle hands. I love thinking of God holding me, and each of us, in His strong & tender hands throughout life. This painting also symbolizes to me how God holds the precious children that return early to Him--He holds onto them while they wait patiently to meet their parents in the next life.
